I can confidently say that Shiloh Care is the leading care agency in Derby. My experience with other agencies simply doesn't compare. Thembi and her staff demonstrate a genuine commitment to their service users' well-being. A significant benefit for me is having the same wonderful carers each week, which means I don't have the ongoing task of training new people to my specific needs. We contacted Thembi in the summer of 2023 as our mother was requiring much more care. Together we were able to put a plan in place that gave us as a family complete peace of mind. Mum had two designated carers who visited and shadowed us learning their way about her home and most specifically about her needs and the way she liked things done. Mum’s carers became our friends and part of our family. Their kindness, efficiency, respect and diligence were fantastic. In the last two months of Mum’s life her care needs ramped up unexpectedly but the speed with which Thembi was able to meet the need was exceptional. Mum was relaxed and content in the knowledge that her carers knew her well and understood her needs. The carers were so patient and understanding, and always punctual. We as a family are extremely grateful for all the support, help and advice that our Shiloh carers gave to us. We had confidence in both their skills and attitudes and most importantly so did Mum. You were indeed ‘Purple Angels’ and we cannot thank you enough. We have no hesitation in recommending Shiloh Care. They are wonderful!

Thembi and her team of carers provided excellent person centred care for our 95 year old Mum ,for 6 months, following her fall in January 2024. The staff were all extremely caring, courteous and polite. They also escalated any concerns they had immediately.
We are really grateful for all the help and support they provided to our Mum and to our family.

I will be forever grateful for the service provided by Shiloh Healthcare Services, Derby, during my wife’s palliative care. I have no doubt that the care received prolonged her expected life by some 9 months.
Professional, caring, tenderness, dedicated, devoted and punctual are some of the good adjectives which describe the service provided by Shiloh Healthcare Services. They are also the qualities that one would expect from a good healthcare service provider.
What Shiloh Healthcare Services provide provide over and above these expectations, is a totally integrated service which takes into account the needs of the patient, their family and the NHS. The small, well trained team of carers provided continuity, giving the patient, family and carers to get to know each other. In short, the carers became family. When necessary the carers contacted the NHS direct to report their observations.
I cannot praise or recommend Shiloh Healthcare Services high enough. The NHS are the Blue Angels, Shiloh Healthcare Services are the Purple Angels.
One last word, they also cared about me.

" I couldn’t have asked for better care during my husband’s illness. Attention to detail was a priority in the excellent care they provided my husband with. Nothing was too much trouble. They were punctual, communicated well and I felt my husband was safe in their care. He looked forward to their visits. A team of only four carers were allocated to my husband which enabled essential continuity of his care. Two carers visited four times a day. They always gave my husband adequate time for his care and never rushed him. They were observant and reported any concerns that needed addressing by other medical staff. They were very good at including my family. They enabled me to care for my husband at home until he passed away. Words are inadequate to express my appreciation and thanks for the care they gave.
